<\/p>\nThe official start list will be confirmed in the coming weeks, but we can expect to see, among others, Mont-Tremblant\u2019s own Val\u00e9rie Grenier and her Canadian teammates, as well as American superstar Mikaela Shiffrin, Swiss champion Lara Gut-Behrami, who recently announced her retirement at the end of this season, and New Zealand\u2019s Alice Robinson, who has had outstanding results on the circuit in recent years.<\/p>\n

Four new state-of-the-art snowmaking fan guns have been delivered; two will be installed at the base of the Johannsen pitch and two will replace the existing fan guns at the top of the pitch, with a further mobile unit added to increase firepower and to boost snow production<\/strong> where needed. To note, these investments are in addition to the 139 snowmaking towers acquired in recent years to increase production capacity in marginal weather conditions at the beginning of the season on the race course (Flying Mile) and in the base area of the south side (finish area). Furthermore, earthworks including backfilling to level out the base of the Johannsen pitch is underway, which will reduce the amount of snow production required, and ensure the best possible snow conditions for the event.<\/p>\n Spectator areas have been redesigned<\/strong>, the bleachers removed, and ticket prices reduced to allow for more space for more fans, at affordable rates for everyone. \u00a0Also, an additional big screen and an upgraded sound system will ensure that spectators don\u2019t miss a single moment of the action. There will also be more food and beverage options available to fans within the spectator zones.<\/p>\n In addition to the non-stop action on the slopes, a full lineup of music and entertainment<\/strong> is planned and will add to the excitement all weekend long. Fans will be treated to a variety of free concerts and entertainment, including DJs and the headliner Saturday night band, Les Trois Accords. Throughout the weekend, the Village will be popping off, with bars and restaurants in the village ready to welcome guests and celebrate. adding to the vibe.
