Following today\u2019s snow control, the Local Organizing Comittee (LOC) and the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) have given the green light for the AUDI FIS Ski World Cup Women&#8217;s Giant Slalom races at Tremblant December 6 and 7, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>There is sufficient snow to stage a race safely and therefore to hold both giant slalom races on the Flying Mile track on December 6 &amp; 7,<\/em>&#8221; declared Peter Gerdol, FIS Alpine Skiing Women\u2019s Chief Race Director.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<em>I am extremely proud of the work accomplished by the Tremblant team and our volunteers, who have worked tirelessly to prepare the course for the PwC Tremblant World Cup<\/em>,&#8221; said Nicholas Cogger, Event Director.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;<em>We implemented improvements to the terrain and snowmaking capacity in the fall that are working, and we are thrilled to have the green light for next weekend\u2019s races. The collaboration with the Tremblant community has been exceptional, and we all share the same goal: to deliver a world-class racing event for Canadians and fans, promote the growth of the sport, ensure a commercially and environmentally sustainable approach, and leave a lasting legacy for both the sport and the community.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Canadian women scheduled to race at Tremblant are Britt Richardson (Canmore, AB), Cassidy Gray (Panorama, BC), Justine Lamontagne (St-Ferr\u00e9ol-les-Neiges, QC) and local\u2019s favorite, Val\u00e9rie Grenier (St. Isidore, ON).
