Tremblant, a Home Away from Home<\/h2>\n

A native of St-Isidore, Ontario, Val\u00e9rie Grenier has been coming to Tremblant since childhood, and her family has a home in the area. A Tremblant ambassador athlete for several years, she has developed a special connection with the mountain over time and now feels right at home here. Her connection to Tremblant extends far beyond the time she spends on the slopes.<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2023, Val\u00e9rie settled in Mont-Tremblant to continue her physical preparation for the upcoming ski season. Strength training, road and mountain biking, yoga and paddleboarding were all part of her training routine.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll my training happens here at Tremblant. It\u2019s really the perfect place for me to do it. […] I\u2019m extremely happy to have Tremblant\u2019s support and to now be here, at home, to race. The Dream of Racing at Home<\/h2>\n

In 2023, the arrival of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup at Tremblant took on a very special meaning for Val\u00e9rie. A few weeks before the competition, she took us onto the Flying Mile, which had been transformed to welcome the world\u2019s best female skiers, and shared her excitement about racing in front of Canadian fans.<\/p>\n

Her Journey Back to the Top<\/h2>\n

That first edition ultimately allowed her to live out her dream: racing in an Audi FIS Ski World Cup at Tremblant in front of her home crowd. Just a few weeks later, in January 2024, however, her journey took an unexpected turn. A serious crash during the Super-G in Cortina d\u2019Ampezzo, Italy, brought her season to a premature end and marked the beginning of a long rehabilitation process.<\/p>\n

Her journey reached another milestone at the 2025 PwC Tremblant World Cup, when Val\u00e9rie claimed the bronze medal<\/a> in the first race, in front of her home crowd at Tremblant.<\/p>\n
