Race Day Essentials

Unsurprisingly, ski boots top the list. Arianne also brings boot protectors so she can walk outside without damaging the soles. Her helmet, ski goggles and skin suit are, of course, also essential gear for getting to the start gate.

And since you can never be too prepared on race day, she also packs plenty of extra clothing.

Fueling Up

A World Cup race day can be a long one. To stay hydrated and keep her energy up, Arianne always keeps her water bottle close at hand, along with a few snacks, including rice cakes. She also packs some ginger, which she describes as “really spicy”!

Passing the Time Before the Start

Between training runs and the moment she heads to the start gate, there can be plenty of waiting around. Arianne comes prepared with a board game to help pass the time. She also carries a small goggle plushie, adding a personal touch among all her race gear.

And for those cold days on the mountain, she never forgets one of her essentials: hand warmers!

Ready to Race in Front of Her Home Crowd!

Beyond everything in her bag, Arianne Forget is especially excited to race in front of the Tremblant crowd and feel its energy throughout her run: “I can’t wait to race in front of my home crowd, and I hope to hear you cheering all the way down!”
