COMPLETE REQUIRED MODULE:
Alpine Canada Safe Sport Training

The Safe in Sport module is a training program, targeted at covering all of the requirements from Sport Canada to promote physical, psychological, social, and spiritual health in line with the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport.

Upon completion of the module, please provide proof of completion at info@alpinecanada.org, so that our records can be updated.

Creating an NCCP Number

If you do not have a NCCP number, create one following these steps:

  1. Go to www.coach.ca
  2. Click on the tab called The Locker (in red, top right corner)
  3. Click on “Don’t have an NCCP#? Create one now!”
  4. Check the box “I agree” and select “Continue”
  5. Check the box “I want to create a Locker account for access to my transcript, eLearning opportunities, to sign up for coaching events, and more!” – Fill in your info – Click Register
  6. Login to your email account and open the verification email that was sent to you
  7. Click on the “click here” at the very end of the email
  8. Create a password
  9. Click “Submit”
  10. Click on the Icon “Profile”
  11. In the left-hand corner of your screen under your name is your NCCP#

Accessing CAC’s Safe Sport Training

If you have an existing account, please log in.
If you do not have an existing account, please create one and log in using steps above.

  1. Enter the username and password created during registration for your NCCP #.
  2. Click on E-Learning
  3. On the left side of the screen, select ‘Safe Sport’ training applicable for your position
  4. From the drop-down menu, select “Alpine Ski” as your sport
  5. Select from the drop down, your appropriate position (Administrative Staff, Coach, Volunteer, Official) when defining your role and under ‘Organization’
  6. Click “Continue” and then click “Begin”
  7. A new window will open for you to start the Safe Sport Training
  8. Complete all the modules
