The mountain is already buzzing with competition as the 2nd edition of the Tremblant PwC World Cup approaches! We spoke with Martin Rochon, Vice President of Mountain Operations, and Nicholas Cogger, Race Director, to get a behind-the-scenes look at this event that puts Tremblant in the international spotlight.
For Martin Rochon and his teams, the World Cup isn’t just about race days. “The World Cup is a year-round experience!” he explains. This summer and fall, all efforts have focused on preparing the mountain to provide athletes with optimal conditions and spectators with an unforgettable experience.
Major Improvements for This Edition
Several upgrades have been made this year to maximize efficiency and safety:
- Increased firepower: New snow guns and fans have been installed for improved reliability and greater snow production capacity.
- Terrain leveling: The finish area has been flattened to ensure a safe and spectacular descent, while reducing the amount of snow that needs to be produced.
- Optimized water use: Every drop is used more efficiently to ensure exceptional snow coverage.
These improvements not only prepare the mountain for competition but also ensure that all athletes, whether local or international, can race under ideal conditions. To follow snow conditions and discover all the latest updates on the mountain, check our official blog regularly.
Mother Nature Joins the Party!
As if that weren’t enough, on this November 21, 2025, the mountain has already received several centimeters of natural snow, creating a perfect white backdrop for the races and giving visitors and athletes an early taste of winter.
Thank you to our teams working tirelessly to welcome the world’s best female skiers on December 6 and 7!
