Despite comprehensive planning and a well-orchestrated snowmaking plan relying on a world class system, the temperatures of the last few days were not cold enough to create the snow coverage required for the PwC Tremblant World Cup scheduled for December 7 and 8, 2024. These circumstances have led the organizers to take the difficult decision to cancel this edition.
“The safety of the athletes, staff and volunteers are our primary concern. Despite the hard work of the Tremblant team and the volunteers, the courses’ snow condition is not suitable for World Cup racing,” said Peter Gerdol, FIS Race Director of the AUDI FIS Ski World Cup.
“I am very proud of the Tremblant team and the volunteers who have worked tirelessly to try and prepare the course for the PwC Tremblant World Cup. We are very disappointed for the fans and the whole Tremblant community who were excited to attend the event.
